The India Post Department has published two merit lists of GDS a few months ago and the documents have also been verified. Candidates who have not been selected in the list are waiting for the third merit list in the hope of getting selected. India Post published the first list of Gramin Dak Sevaks on 19 August 2024 and the second list was issued on 17 September 2024. The third merit list of GDS is likely to be released in mid-October 2024.

India Post GDS 3rd Merit List 2024
India Post Department had launched the GDS recruitment 2024 to fill up a total of 44,228 vacancies in Gramin Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) posts. Whose application process is concluded but selection process is still running. Merit list of GDS is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by applicants in 10th class. The department will issue the region wise 3d third merit list very soon. GDS 2024 Result PDF will be uploaded on official website. Candidates who will be selected will find their name in this merit list. It is yet unknown when the list will be published, but it will be issued in the next month, October.
India Post GDS 3rd Merit List 2024 Release Date
So far, the Department has published the first two merit lists of INDIA POST Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). The previous merit lists were published in August and September. So it can be easily assumed that the GDS third merit list will be published in the October. The candidates whose names appear in the merit list (III) will be invited for the last stage of the selection process i.e. document verification. Once the India Post GDS 3rd merit list is published, candidates will be able to check if their names are included in it. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for the merit list can expect the third list to be released in the second week of October 2024.

How to Check India Post GDS (GDS) III Merit List 2024?
India Post Department will release the 3rd merit list for Gramin Dak Sevaks 2024 in PDF format. The steps to download the merit list and the process to check your name are discussed below.
- First of all, go to the official website which can be accessed at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.
- Navigate to the Candidate Corner menu, click on the option “GDS Online Engagement Schedule.”
- Select your state from the region list.
- Then click on GDS Supplementary List 3.
- The merit list will open in the form of PDF, download it.
- Open the merit list and check if your name is there.
India Post GDS Cut off Marks
India Post GDS cut off marks for 3rd merit list varies from state to state and category to category. The department will set the cut-off marks based on the marks secured by the candidates in matriculation. The cut-off marks will be mentioned in the GDS 3rd list when the department issues the merit list. Candidates who score above the cut-off mark will be shortlisted in the GDS 3rd merit list and will be invited for document verification.
